Manus, the AI agent platform that gained significant attention earlier this year, has launched a new plan specifically designed for small businesses and organizations. Named Manus Team, this plan offers a cost-effective solution for teams to access AI capabilities, starting at $39 per seat per month with a minimum requirement of five seats, totaling $195 per month.

The Manus Team plan includes 19,500 credits in a sharable pool for each team, as well as access to certain beta features, dedicated infrastructure, and priority access during peak hours. Teams can utilize 3,900 credits per seat in a flexible pool with no individual limits, allowing each member to run up to two tasks simultaneously. This pricing model is designed to accommodate the varying needs of small businesses without compromising on the quality of AI services.

Credits on the platform can be used for various tasks, such as copying data from a website to a spreadsheet. Longer tasks may require hundreds or even thousands of credits. Team users have the option to run up to two tasks concurrently and can also opt for Manus' "high-effort mode" to enhance the reliability of their AI tasks.

Since going viral in March, Manus has introduced several premium offerings and a mobile app. The startup behind the platform, Butterfly Effect, has reportedly raised $75 million in a funding round led by Benchmark, valuing the company at $500 million. This investment has allowed Manus to expand its services and continue upgrading the AI models that power its platform.

Manus primarily uses Anthropic’s Claude 3.7 Sonnet and customized versions of Alibaba’s Qwen AI models. The company aims to expand to new markets, including Japan and the Middle East, while also focusing on continuous improvements to its AI models to meet the evolving needs of its users. With the launch of Manus Team, small businesses and organizations can now access advanced AI capabilities at an affordable price, helping them streamline their operations and stay competitive in the digital age.
